Dreamline Sidewinder Suspension System
The Sidewinder Suspension System adds a dynamic function to any Dreamline Support, S3, STX, and Contour backrest, without requiring modification to the wheelchair frame and whilst maintaining the adjustability of the backrest. The dynamic resistance levels can be easily adjusted by exchanging elastomer pads or alternatively by changing the set-up position on the backrest.
A dynamic back support can help to reduce pain, increase seating tolerance, lower energy consumption of the user, decrease injury, decrease incidence of equipment breakage, and increase function.
Adjustability
When used with the Sidewinder Suspension system, the backrest retains its width, height, depth, and angle adjustability.
Replaceable
The energy-absorbing pads can be changed to alter resistance levels.
Travel and tilt lock
The Sidewinder system enables the backrest to be locked and unlocked for safe travel.
Crash tested
The Sidewinder Suspension system has been successfully crash tested to ISO 71716-19 & WC20 for forward facing travel in a motor vehicle (see product brochure for more info).
Warranty Information
Dreamline Seating has an 18 month limited warranty.
