This narrow power wheelchair base is perfect for navigating tight corners and small spaces. With an overall width of 20.75” with 12.5” drive wheels, the Stretto is the best narrow wheelchair for children, teenagers and small adults to use in the home.
Although existing Quantum bases can accommodate paediatric seating, the narrow width of the Stretto offers easy manoeuvring that children and teenagers love. This paediatric power wheelchair comes standard with a USB charger port and front and rear LED fender lights, so children can see and be seen. The Stretto is available with 12.5” or 14” drive wheels and optional 12” of iLevel power adjustable seat elevation.
In addition to its narrow width, the Edge 3 Stretto is equipped with independent SRS (Smooth Ride Suspension), which offers increased shock absorption due to the angle of the shocks. Narrow base
The Edge 3 Stretto is the narrowest complex rehab base on the market. It’s perfect for navigating tight corners and small spaces, with an overall width of 52.7cm (20.7″) with the 12.5″ drive tyres. The Stretto (Italian for narrow) is an ideal wheelchair for children, teenagers and small adults.
iLevel seat elevation
The Edge 3 Stretto features standard speeds of up to 10km/h in the lowered position, and speeds up to 5.6 km/h while elevated at 30.5 cm (12″) with the optional seat elevation.
LED fender lights
LED fender lights come standard on the Stretto and offer great benefits and features for increased visibility. With lighting mounted to the fender and above the drive tyre on each side of the power wheelchair, fender lights help ensure that you can see and be seen.
SRS (Smooth Ride Suspension)

Warranty Information
Quantum power wheelchairs have a limited lifetime warranty on the structural frame components, including the main frame and fixed position seat post.
A one year limited warranty is provided on electronic components, (including the charger assembly, controller and joystick), main frame assemblies (including the metal seat framing) and electrical harnesses.
An one year limited warranty is provided on the motor/gearbox assembly and power seat actuator.
A one year limited warranty is provided on accessories, anti-tip forks, front riggings, castor forks, brakes (electronic function only), front rigging mounting brackets and castor beam.
A six month limited warranty is provided on bearings and bushings.
The batteries are covered by a 12 month warranty from the original manufacturer.
