MAT Evaluation Refresher – Newcastle August 2022

Completing a MAT evaluation is a crucial part of the seating and wheelchair prescription process, but if you are not doing them regularly it’s beneficial to touch up your skills. Join us for a brief hands-on workshop to refresh our MAT skills. Bring your yoga mat! 

On completion of this session, you will:

• Describe and locate the anatomical landmarks required for mechanical evaluation
• Demonstrate and describe passive ranging of joints and body segment angles
• Translate body segment angles to support surface angles
