Assistive Technology Consultant
We’re excited to introduce our newest team member in Newcastle, Ebony Campbell, who brings even more experience and expertise to our team. Ebony holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from Newcastle University. Prior to joining our team, she worked in a private practice in Maitland, where she played a pivotal role in developing and expanding their occupational therapy service. During this time, Ebony worked extensively with people funded through NDIS and My Aged Care.
What excites Ebony about assistive technology (AT) prescription is the opportunity to tailor AT solutions to each person’s specific needs. She is passionate about how the right piece of equipment can significantly enhance a person’s engagement in their daily life. Ebony has a particular affinity for scripting both manual and power wheelchairs. She finds immense satisfaction in exploring the multitude of options available and showing people the possibilities that they might not have known about before.
In her spare time, Ebony enjoys spending time with her two dogs., going to the gym and socialising with friends.
