The Ki Mobility Liberty FT is able to fold into a portable package ideal for transportation. Its optional fold down backrest compacts into a small package for transportation, while providing easy to adjust tilt-in-space for pressure relief, facilitating proper posture or just providing a positional change.
The Liberty FT can be adjusted as needed, with frame width, frame depth, backrest height, seat to floor height and centre of gravity position all being easily adjustable. The Liberty FT is also designed for independent mobility, especially foot propulsion. The front seat height remains the same regardless of the tilt angle, meaning you can choose the tilt angle that provides the best pelvic stability with compromising mobility.

Weight
The Liberty utilitises the most recent technologies, including high pressure metal molding. This results in an incredibly strong and lightweight part. For example, the side frame only weighs 1.27kg.

The Liberty is the only adult tilt-in-space that can fold into a portable package ideal for transportation. Want an even smaller package? Choose the optional folding backrest. Angle adjustable fold down back
The back angle can be changed in 5° increments with a range of -5° to 25°. With the flip of a lever, effortlessly fold the Liberty’s back down for a more compact, portable package.
Repositioning
Everyone needs relief from sitting in a static position. Whether your primary concern is pressure relief, facilitating proper posture or just providing a break from gravity, the Liberty makes it painless. Featuring an easy to adjust gas spring design, adjusting the system for effortless repositioning is simple.
Foot propulsion
The Liberty is designed for independent mobility, especially foot propulsion. The front seat height remains the same regardless of the tilt angle. Simply choose the tilt angle that provides the best pelvic stability without compromising mobility.
Modular design
Reacting quickly to a short discharge notice, which happens frequently in stroke rehabilitation, is challenging. With Liberty’s modular design, in most cases, no additional parts are necessary to reconfigure the frame. Frame width, frame depth, backrest height, seat to floor height and centre of gravity are all easily adjustable. Adapting the chair for delivery or in response to changing user needs has never been easier in an adult tilt chair.
Transit wheels
Transit wheels are integrated into the rear frame allowing the removal of rear wheels for easier access through narrow spaces. This design folds out of the way and deploys quickly and easily.
Hemi wheel lock
The Hemi Wheel Lock provides a single lever that will operate both wheel locks. Can be ordered set up for right or left hand operation, a wheel lock extension handle is included in the price.

Warranty Information
Ki Mobility warrants the frame and quick-release axles of this wheelchair against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser. All other Ki Mobility-made parts and components of this wheelchair are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of first consumer purchase.
The expected life of the frame is five years.
The warranty does not cover:
- Wear items: upholstery, tyres, armrest pads, tubes, armrests and push handle grips.
- Damage resulting from neglect, misuse or from improper installation or repair.
- Damage from exceeding the weight limit.
