Rifton Multistander
The Rifton Multistander offers supine, prone, and abduction positioning in one versatile system. This true multistander allows effortless switching between supine and prone, with all models supporting up to 30° of hip abduction to encourage healthy hip joint development. It’s adjustable for users with mild to complex needs, with independent controls for hip and knee flexion and leg length to accommodate contractures and discrepancies.
A broad range of positioning components helps users stay comfortably upright and engaged for longer periods. The height can be easily adjusted to bring a child to eye level with their peers or within easy reach of activities. Advanced leg supports feature independent adjustments for leg length, hip angle, and knee angle (note: these are not available in Size 1). The open frame design supports easier transfers and access to the surrounding environment. Additional features include tilt and swivel sandals with quick-release magnetic straps, and tool-free adjustments for greater convenience.

Features

Multi-Position Capability
The Multistander easily converts between prone, supine, and multi-position configurations. Switching modes is fast and completely tool-free, making it ideal for environments where flexibility is key.

Hip Abduction Support
Each leg can be abducted independently up to 30°, supporting optimal hip joint development.

Advanced Leg Adjustments
The advanced legs (available in sizes 2 and 3) allow independent adjustment of leg length, hip angle, and knee angle. This makes it possible to accommodate asymmetries, contractures, and leg length discrepancies with precision.

Height Adjustable Frame
The frame can be raised or lowered to match the user’s environment. Lower the stander to place a child at eye level with their peers, or raise it to give access to work surfaces and activities.

Open Frame Design
The open frame allows for easier access during transfers, especially in supine. It also improves access to the child’s environment and supports caregiver efficiency. Whether transferring from a wheelchair or during therapy, the design prioritises ease of use.

Tool-Free Adjustments
All key adjustments can be made without tools. This includes converting between prone and supine configurations, adjusting supports, and repositioning straps. It’s ideal for dynamic settings like schools or clinics where time and flexibility matter.

Magnetic Sandal Straps
Quick-release magnetic sandal straps provide secure foot positioning in seconds. They’re easy to open and close, even for people working one-handed. Combined with independently tilting and swivelling sandals, they help achieve precise lower limb alignment.

Prone & Supine Tray
The tray works in both configurations and adjusts in height and angle. It offers a large surface area for play, learning, or therapy activities. When not in use, it swings away for easy transfers.
