ROHO Hybrid Elite Cushion
The ROHO Hybrid Elite cushion combines the unique properties of ROHO air cells with the supportive features of foam, in one cushion. The air insert provides you with pressure redistribution around the pelvis thanks to the adjustable air compartments that let you set inflation levels to your shape and ideal position. Meanwhile, the cushioned foam channels hold your legs in place, and provides you with a firm base for sitting stability.
The ROHO Hybrid Elite is a lightweight wheelchair available as either a single or dual valve compartment cushion. The dual valve is suitable for users with a pelvic obliquity, as the air pressure in each compartment can be adjusted independently to provide postural correction/accommodation. The Hybrid Elite’s foam under the thighs promotes stability, especially during transfers and the contoured base and adjustable air cells provides improved positioning of the pelvic and thighs.
The Hybrid Elite allows you to offload pressure from the greater trochanters as well as the ischial tuberosities, which is in contrast to the similar Jay 3 cushion which loads the greater trochanters. This provides a different approach to pressure management which may suit some users more.
