Rifton Wave
The Rifton Wave system makes bathing and showering more comfortable for both the client and the caregiver. It offers plenty of adaptability, allowing you to adjust the angle of the seat, back and calf rests. The Wave chair is fully customisable, and there are three base options available to choose from. It is the most cost-effective way to modify a bathroom or move into assisted living without having to use bed baths.
Features include chest straps that position the user safety, attaching the hook and loop along the back and buckling securely; optional head blocks for lateral support, and soft leg straps made from the same fabric as the chair. There’s a tub stand that can be used with the chair, with all adjustments tool-free; a shower stand that allows you to roll the user into a shower at a suitable height for good cleaning; and tub transfer base for users who require an over-the-tub shower.
Available in pink or blue, the Rifton wave has an extra wide seat with open sides and is available in three sizes. The Small and Medium sizes have 15” width, while the Large is 17.5” wide. It is suitable for people of all ages and sizes, with the Large accommodating adults up to 6’2” and 113 kilograms. There is also a conversion kit available for those wanting to move up to the next size.

The calf rest adjusts separately from the seat in 15° increments, making it possible to make it flat or adjust it to 90°- or an angle in between.
To get the chair low in the tub, rotate both the front and back legs straight out.

Conversion kits are the smart solution for growing children. For a fraction of the cost of a new bath seat, a larger fabric cover, back frame, seat frame and chest strap can be fitted to the Small Wave – turning it into a Medium Wave.
The Wave has a washable fabric that is easily removed for cleaning.
The Wave is truly tool free, not only for initial assembly but for all adjustments. Many adjustments are possible while the Wave is in use.

Tub Stand
The optional tub stand raises the bath chair either 13.9cm or 29cm higher in the bath tub, depending on the position of the tub stand legs.
Shower Stand
The shower stand lets you roll your client into the shower stall at a height that allows for better cleaning – and saves your back. Locking castors provide smooth, easy manoeuvrability.
Rotating Transfer Base
To transfer a large or heavy user for an over-the-tub shower, use the back saving rotating transfer base. With its ingenious slide-rotate action you can place the user on the bath chair (with a hoist if needed), and move them over the bath tub without strain.
