The Comfort Acta-Embrace™ Back Support is designed for users needing a customisable fit, featuring patented mouldable aluminum stays that provide precise positioning, support, and pressure redistribution.The Acta-Embrace™ includes integrated trunk wings attached to a planar aluminium back support shell, which are fully adjustable in angle, height, and width (up to 3″ for standard wings and 1.5″ for paediatric wings) to create a supportive, custom shape. Mouldable stays on the two-layer foam pad’s backside allow for on-the-spot adjustments, accommodating various spinal curvatures, including lumbar, scoliosis, and kyphosis support needs. These stays are offset from the center, effectively relieving pressure points along the spine.
Additional features include integrated chest harness strap guides, a durable aluminum shell with a pre-drilled head support hold pattern, and compatibility with lateral trunk support hardware, offering up to 11″ of width adjustment (5.5″ per side) and over 5″ of height adjustment for a tailored, supportive fit.

Mouldable stays allow for easy on-the-spot customisation to accommodate a variety of spinal curvatures. Mouldable stays allow for continual support of changing conditions and can easily accommodate rotation with offset placement well before trying to rotate the back support. Stays prevent high peak pressures by providing additional cushion contact with the user unlike traditional planar back supports. The mouldable stays create a support surface unique to the individual.
