Jay Ion Cushion
The Jay Ion is a skin protection and positioning cushion composed of a multi-layer foam base, moisture resistant inner cover and ani-microbial outer cover. It is suitable for clients who need a cushion primarily for comfort with some mild pressure relieving qualities and positioning. The top layer of visco foam creates a very soft cushion. Clients who like their cushions to be on the softer side tend to like the Jay Ion over other foam cushions that tend to be firmer. The firmess of the cushion varies with its width and therefore client weight, to provide optimum immersion. It’s available in a wide range of sizes.

Dual-layered foam base with varying firmness
The Jay Ion cushion features a dual-layered foam base for a combination of structural support and comfort. For optimised immersion for each individual, the foam’s firmness is determined by the cushion width, which directly corresponds with user weight.
Visco™ memory foam top layer
The width of the Fusion’s Pelvic Loading Area is determined by using the average pelvic bone measurements of users of each cushion width. This accommodates the vast majority of individuals, offering forward and lateral stability for proper positioning and optimal immersion and weight distribution to protect the skin from breakdown.
Innovative, dual-cover system
For convenience and protection, the Jay Ion features a dual-cover system. The inner cover is water-resistant and easy to wipe off and clean, while its Aqua-guard zipper and anti-wicking thread protect the foam base from fluids. The machine-washable, stretch outer cover reduces surface tension and utilizes naturally anti-microbial, silver-impregnated Ionic+™ fiber. A layer of 3DX spacer fabric promotes airflow and dissipates heat and moisture for additional skin protection.Technical specifications

Warranty Information
Jay cushions come with a two year base warranty and six month warranty on the cover and fabric components. A three month warranty is provided on any fluid pads.
