Bodypoint Joystick Handles
Bodypoint Joystick Handles offer users more control over their mobility with a joystick handle designed to meet their needs when a standard joystick handle isn’t suitable. Bodypoint’s four unique models all feature flexible shafts that dampen driving vibrations to increase driving performance while reducing the risk of damage to electronic controls. The joystick handles are easy-to-clean, non-toxic and resist unwanted pull-off from the metal stem.
Bodypoint offers handles in two stem sizes to fit joystick controllers used on most major power chairs. Invacare chairs generally use 4.8mm (3/16”) stems, while 6.4mm (1/4”) stems are found on most Permobil, Pride, Quantum and Magic Mobility wheelchairs.

Rubber Dome Joystick Handle
The Rubber Dome Joystick Handle is designed specifically for users with weak hands. As Bodypoint’s shortest joystick handle, its wide, 66mm (2-5/8”) diameter and low 25mm (1“) profile matches the shape of the palm, keeping the wrist neutral and making it easier to controls the fingers. It provides maximum control to users with weak hands, and the small ribs on dome reduce sweat buildup and increase friction to keep hands from slipping off with involuntary movement.
U-Shaped Joystick Handle
The U-Shaped Joystick Handle is form-fitting and ergonomic due to its curved shape and waterfall edge. This design provides maximum driving control while remaining comfortable. It is available in two widths to accommodate the user’s hand size and ability to stretch. The vertical wings prevent hands from slipping and can be re-shaped using hot water to better conform to the user’s hand.
Straight Joystick Handle
The Straight Joystick Handle makes it easier to grasp the joystick using only the last joint of the user’s fingers. This design is especially useful for users with very limited hand function. The length of the handle can be modified quickly and with ease for a precise fit. The handle is more flexible and can dampen muscle spasms making it easier to drive while reducing risk of damage to the joystick box.
Grooved Mushroom Joystick Handle
The Grooved Mushroom Joystick Handle’s textured surface, hand-filling shape, and adaptable height make it a versatile model that meets the needs of many different users. The large side grooves and fine top grooves improve friction, giving better grip and more control for users with limited hand function or smooth palms. The hand-filling shape works equally well for users grasping from the side or the top. The handle can be easily trimmed with a utility knife to six different heights (from 60 to 28mm) to meet individual user needs, including palmar hand position or fingertip control.Technical specifications
